Top 3 Reasons to Retire in Manufactured Housing

When we at Mckee Villages talk about “55+ Living Done Right”, it’s more than a saying. Our brand of 55+ living is a lifestyle and a mindset: one of sensible, stress-free living, and the peace-of-mind in knowing that your expenses are optimized and your finances are comfortable.

As more retiring and soon-to-be-retired baby-boomers consider manufactured housing for their long-term housing, we thought we’d compile the top 3 reasons to retire in manufactured housing at Neshaminy Falls.

Living in the city is too expensive

This is one of the fastest ways to drain your retirement – cities are naturally more expensive to move around and shop in because merchants can charge more. Suburban areas make the best choice for retirees who don’t need to be close to a city office; our residents live comfortably and stress-free with close access to shops and amenities, and transportation provided for shopping and activities.

Excess space = wasted money

One sure drain on resources is unused space that you have to heat, cool and otherwise maintain. Smart retirement planners know that eliminating wasteful, recurring expenses early on can have a profound impact on your nest egg, enabling you to live a fuller and more spontaneous life. Our manufactured homes have smart, modern floorplans that save you money and give you plenty of room.

Want a new lease on life or new perspective on life

Retirement can be the most fulfilling time in one’s life because it allows us to rethink who we want to be and what we want to spend our time on. One of the best ways to discover new energy is to eliminate excess liabilities, both financial and psychological. Our staff enable you to free your mind, and take charge of your future.

Neshaminy Falls Circa 1940

Our goal is for this to develop into a “What’s new at Neshaminy Falls” blog and bulletin with stories, recipes, community news, and other important and interesting articles by and for our residents. First though, we’d like to introduce the Village of Neshaminy Falls and write about why our residents love living here! Ahem. . .

Sitting along Neshaminy Creek in beautiful northwest Pennsylvania, our 55+ active adult community offers outstanding living with minimal hassle. Our clubhouse and full-time social director ensure that no moment is dreary, and our maintained grounds and on-site management means that residents’ energy is spent enjoying activities, excursions, and each other’s company.

Our residents get a tremendous amount of home and lifestyle for the price because our new mobile and manufactured homes for sale have the latest floor plans, modern features, and energy-efficient, low-maintenance construction. They’re also attractive, affordable, and available in a range of price tiers and sizes.

New challenges and adventures await in our Active Adult Community – days are filled with social groups and clubs, and excursions often include exciting destinations like Sands Casino, Jenkinson Aquarium, Philadelphia Premium Outlets, and more. Our residents also enjoy the standard assortment of relaxing activities like daily Pinochle, Bridge, and other card games, as well as frequent trips to grocery and specialty food stores to stock up on everything from dinner essentials to in-home entertaining accoutrements.

Amenities are also a big part of our active lifestyle: the pool beckons in the summer months, and the fitness center and clubhouse are open year-round, hosting all the features one expects from a resort-style retirement community.

We’re tremendously proud of Neshaminy Falls, not only because of the facilities, amenities and lifestyle, but because of the community. Our residents are a welcoming group of kind and capable 55+ adults who pay close attention to each other and the greater community, and regularly hold drives and other events to benefit those in need.

We hope you’ll check back on our blog often to see what’s happening in the community, and what new things we’re discovering to feel passionate about, and if you or a loved one is currently looking for a community to call home please don’t hesitate to contact us!
